Paap: Antim Pawrbo trailer – Mystery intensifies as Chowdhury household wait for murders to occur

The trailer for the Hoichoi web-series Paap: Antim Pawrbo offers a glimpse of the conclusion to the series of murders that rattled the Chowdhury household in the first season.

In the web-series, the festival of Durga Puja turns into a springboard for crimes and mysterious revelations. In the Antim Pawrbo (Final Chapter), protagonist Parboni (Puja Banerjee) returns to the family with a secret which eventually unravels the mystery behind the series of murders.

Directed by Anupam Hari, Paap also features Rahul Banerjee, Saheb Bhattacharya, Rajat Ganguly and Bhaswar Chattopadhyay.

In the first season, the murders of the family priest and another family member took place in the manner of the parts of a book.

While the first two murders were indicated as Suchipotro [Table of Contents] and Mukhobondho [Preface], Parboni pointed out that there would be more murders in the family to complete the rest of the book.

The investigating officer (Rahul Banerjee) echoes Parboni’s fear that someone is writing a ‘Book of Death’ and everyone begins to get suspicious of the motive for Parboni’s return.

With every twist in the plot, Parboni recalls haunting memories from her disturbing past in the house, drawing a connection between the murders.

On the other hand, the plot intensifies as she creates confusion regarding her identity and the rest of the family members waits for the inevitable murders to take place.

Paap also explores how Parboni channelizes her severe trauma regarding the past to unearth the mystery of the family. Like most of the Hoichoi web-series, Paap, too, contains disturbing visuals that highlight the evil tendencies of humans.

Paap: Antim Pawrbo will be streamed on Hoichoi from 4 June.
