Official motion logo of Durgeshgorer Guptodhon creates a buzz

The official motion logo of Durgeshgorer Guptodhon, the second instalment of the much-awaited Bengali treasure hunt franchise, was launched at a grand event on Saturday in a city mall. The motion logo film was unveiled by the lead cast — Abir Chatterjee, Arjun Chakraborty, Ishaa Saha, director Dhrubo Banerjee and scriptwriter Subhendu Dasmunshi — as the crowd went gaga over the phenomenal video that was shown on the LED screen.

Durgeshgorer Guptodhon brings back the famous trio Sonada (Abir Chatterjee), Abir (Arjun Chakrabarty) and Jhinuk (Ishaa Saha). The unveiling of the motion poster of the official logo was a treat to watch. An animated underwater video was played, showing a few fish swimming by as a golden conch is suddenly immersed in the water. The new logo then revealed itself with the message that Sonada is returning for a new hunt!

The story of Durgeshgorer Guptodhon begins when professor Subarna Sen, aka Sonada (Abir) a professor of history, along with Abir (Arjun) and Jhinuk (Ishaa) decide to visit one of Sonada’s student’s ancestral mansion at Durgeshgor. The great grandfather of this student was an erstwhile zamindar and a renowned artist of Bengal. There is a myth that runs in the family that they had once received a massive treasure, but all traces and trails of it had been lost. Sona’da, along with Abir and Jhinuk, join a festival in that mansion in Durgeshgor and stumble upon lost clues that may lead them to unearthing one of the greatest treasures of Bengal. “The response was overwhelming,” said Dhrubo.
