Official Album of Raincoat released, marks Rituparno Ghosh’s 6th death anniversary

To honour legendary director Rituparno Ghosh on his 6th death anniversary, for the first time, SVF (the producer) released the Official Music Album of the National Award-Winning Film Raincoat.

The full video songs starring Bollywood actors Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Ajay Devgn and directed by the legend himself, have been released on SVF’s official YouTube channel.

The songs of the film have been released every day starting from May 25 until May 30, paying homage to the iconic director and his creations. Lending voice to some of the songs is acclaimed singer Shubha Mudgal whose Piya tora kaise abhimaan along with the lyrics from famed poet Gulzar, will touch the heart of every lovelorn soul. The rest of the songs have been penned by Rituparno Ghosh himself. Other singers who have been part of the musical journey of the film were Hariharan and Meena Mishra.
