Nusraat Faria loved working with Birsa and Ankush

Nusraat Faria was recently in Kolkata to attend the premiere of her film, Birsa Dasgupta’s Bibaho Obhijaan. Now the actress is back in Bangladesh, shooting and studying at the same time. “I am shooting for Dhaka 2040, which is a sequel to Dhaka Attack. I play the role of a researcher. It’s a beautiful script and my character too is brilliant,” said the actress, adding, “I’m also pursuing my studies along with acting and by now how to balance both with ease.” The actress is happy that Bibaho Obhijaan is releasing in Bangladesh. “We are planning some promotions here. Let’s see how it shapes up,” said the actress, who is all praise for Birsa. “It was lovely shooting with the team. I loved my character, which was of a smart and soft-hearted girl. And sharing the screen space with Ankush was so much fun! He is a very helpful actor and with him around, it is more of fun and less of work,” said the actor.

Bibaho Obhijaan is a comedy caper about two friends Anupam (Ankush) and Rajat (Rudranil), who share a very strong bond. Anupam a shy gentleman, marries the rebellious Rai (Nusraat Faria), while Rajat, an outspoken guy and winner of several debate championships, marries Maya (Sohini Sarkar) chosen by his family. Maya is homely and her life revolves around serials. Soon, the friends realise the consequences of conjugal life. Thus starts their marital adventure or Bibaho Obhijaan — a laughter riot! It’s a playful tribute to the eternal Tom & Jerry bonding between husbands and wives!
