Mainak elated by response to Bornoporichoy trailer

    Jun 25, 2019 Publication : Timesofindia

    Mainak

Mainak Bhaumik is on cloud nine. And he had every reason to, as the trailer of his next, Bornoporichoy, is getting a good response. Tollywood actors and directors praised Mainak after watching the trailer of the thriller, which is bringing together Bengal’s two most desirable men, Jisshu U Sengupta and Abir Chatterjee, face to face in a lead roles. Speaking to us, Mainak shared his experience working with Abir, Jisshu and Priyanka Sarkar in the film. Abir: This is my second film with him and he has matured as an actor and become extremely professional. The way Abir approaches his character is brilliant. But he is so unsure at times that it makes me go crazy!

Jisshu: This is my third film with Jisshu and he is such a spontaneous actor! The way he adds on to a scene is unbelievable. But he is extremely overworked as an actor. He’s often tired on the sets.

Priyanka: This is my second film with her and she is extremely disciplined as an actor. She will give you multiple choices for one scene, which proves that she is a good actor. But the problem with her is that she lives in a different world at times. Like, if you ask something to her on WhatsApp, it’s likely that she will answer you through an email!

Bornoporichoy is a thriller that revolves around the cat-and-mouse game between a criminal, Arko (played by Abir) and a cop, Dhananjoy (Jisshu). While Arko goes on a killing spree, Dhananjoy becomes obsessed in trying to uncover the truth and in the process, loses his family and job. Overall, the trailer promises a roller-coaster ride that delves into the grammar of death.
