Madhumita Sarcar, Vikram Chatterjee to star in Kuler Achaar

Featuring Indrani Haldar and Sujan Neel Mukherjee, the film marks director Sudeep Das’s first collaboration with SVF.

Madhumita Sarcar and Vikram Chatterjee will star in SVF Entertainment’s upcoming film Kuler Achaar.

A family drama with comedic elements, the movie revolves around a woman, Mithi (Sarcar), who wishes to retain her maiden name after getting married to Pritam (Chatterjee). Her partner has a liberal outlook on life and supports her decision.

Kuler Achaar also features Indrani Haldar and Sujan Neel Mukherjee. The project marks the return of the veteran actress to the screen after five years. She will be playing Mithi’s mother-in-law, who has a strong influence on the younger woman’s life. Mukherjee, on the other hand, will be seen as Mithi’s father-in-law.

Kuler Achaar marks director Sudeep Das’s first collaboration with SVF. Mainak Bhaumik will be the creative director of the project while the music of Kuler Achaar will be composed by Prasen er Dol Bol.

Sarcar has previously worked with SVF in Love Aaj Kal Porshu (2020), Cheeni (2020) and Tangra Blues (2021), while Chatterjee has become a household name with his portrayal of Alaap in the Hoichoi series Tansener Tanpura (2020).
