Birsa Dasgupta is all set to start shooting for his next, a psychological thriller titled Pyscho, from February 15. Chandreyee Ghosh, who plays one of the female leads in the film, said, “I can’t reveal the story as it is a thriller. All I can say, death is the central theme of this film and it tries to delve into the mindset of a murderer. I play Kaberi Bose, an IAS officer. She is on a mission to find out the murderer. She is extremely authoritative in nature, intelligent and talks less. So, most of my actions will be through body language. Birsa said I will not have to do any makeup to play this character. I will be natural, both in terms of acting and looks,” said the actress. She added, “This will be my second project with Birsa and I am looking forward to it. He is one of the coolest directors I have worked with. Also, I will be sharing the screen with Anirban (Bhattacharya) for the first time. So, it should be fun and a great learning process too. I feel he is a very talented actor.” Chandreyee just completed shooting for Debaditya Bandopadhyay’s film, 8848, inspired by Sunitra Hazra’s life. “Sunita is the first Bengali woman to scale the Mt Everest and the film is based on that. The shooting of the film got stalled because of the lockdown. But after Puja, we completed the shoot,” said the actress.
So, what is her Valentine’s Day plan? “Getting ready mentally to start shooting for Birsa’s film. That’s my biggest Valentine’s Day gift. That apart, I will be attending a wedding of a friend on that day,” said Chandreyee.
