Hitting a half century in style

The cast and crew of Durgeshgorer Guptodhon gathered at a city mall recently to celebrate the film’s 50-day run in the theatres. Along with director Dhrubo Banerjee, music director of the film, Bickram Ghosh, and actor Abir Chatterjee were present, among others. The event started with a cake cutting ceremony, post which the cast and crew indulged in endless adda.

“This wouldn’t have been possible without the love and blessings of the audience. After two back to back films with the franchise, I think I should take some time off to make the third flick to avoid repetition,” said the director.
