He doesn’t have a very complicated thought process: Arjun Chakraborty on director Anjan Dutt

The actor, who worked with Dutt for the first time in Finally Bhalobasa, spoke about his character and shared his experience of working with the director.

Arjun Chakraborty plays the character of Bibek in Anjan Dutt’s upcoming film Finally Bhalobasa. The actor, who worked with Dutt for the first time in the film, spoke about his character and shared his experience of working with the director in a video released by SVF Entertainment Pvt Ltd.

“I am glad I said yes to him. I really like my character in the film,” says Chakraborty.

“Bibek is a soft guy who is not quite sure of the current status of his relationship with his girlfriend. He works for a violent and eccentric man and often catches him beating up his wife. The film shows whether he is able to help his madam – the wife of his boss to escape her misery.”

In the film, actor-director Arindam Sil plays his boss and Raima Sen essays the character of his wife.

Like many other actors, who have worked with Dutt, Chakraborty too described him as an easy going director. “He doesn’t have a very complicated thought process, neither does he emphasize on doing homework before the shoot,” says Chakraborty. “On the whole, he is a very interesting person to be with,” he gushes.

“He is extremely proud of the film and we too are proud of the contributions that we have made in this film. It’s a wonderful script,”sayd the actor, who feels that the story has been dealt with by Dutt very uniquely.

“I have worked with a very talented group of people both behind and in front of the camera, which has contributed to my learning curves,” says Chakraborty.

Finally Bhalobasa is slated for release on 8 February.
