Kolkata, May 26: In “Durgeshgorer Guptodhon,” a flick with the fervour of escaping the city amidst the pujas, there are mysterious hints covered up in reverential tunes and in the works of art.
There are chunks of data on the historical backdrop of Bengal. Over and over amid the film it will wound up childhood memories. An animated preamble sets up the canvas of Durgeshgorer Guptodhon like Guptodhoner Sandhane. It actually tells the base of the film and standing in that base Dhrubo Banerjee successfully built up his second high rise.
But the film somehow neglected during the writing, that’s why it experiences a sketchy script that never entirely takes off. There are bloated entries like bizarre battle arrangements and finding trove underwater for a long time without mask. Bickram Ghosh bowled me over by the throbbing foundation score to increase the strain.
On the other hand the film worked in various angles like the manner by which it meshes a chronicled occasion into a fascinating dream, the first class camera work by Soumik Haldar, Bickram Ghosh’s astounding foundation score. Abir is too prepared to be trademarked as Sona-da. Arjun and Ishaa make a lovely pair onscreen and they lived up to the extreme. Kharaj Mukherjee and Kaushik Sen specifically mesmerized. Undoubtedly it has certain redundancies of Guptodhoner Sondhane. The film required more prominent true to life artfulness and the screenplay required a stream that would keep certain arrangements from seeming organized but succeeds in the eccentrics of the plot.
It’s obviously a superior endeavor than the past while the chief concentrating on the class of untouched genres attempting to improve the substance as far as holding interest, making tension and fusing increasingly emotional force. UNI
