Byomkesh season 6 on Hoichoi: Bengal’s beloved detective is back

Hoichoi recently released a teaser for Byomkesh Season 6. This Bengali detective thriller will premiere on the platform in January 2021.

The show, starring Anirban Bhattacharya in the lead role, is a faithful retelling of the iconic, fictional Indian detective Byomkesh Bakshi created by Sharadindu Bandyopadhyay. According to the official description:

“Bengal’s most elegant sleuth always find his way, even in the darkest of mysteries. This hoichoi web series reprises the mind-bending adventures of Byomkesh and his confidante, Ajit.”

The key cast of the show also consists of Suprabhat Das, Ridhima Ghosh, Darshana Banik, Shaon, Krishnendu Dewanji, Soumendra Bhattacharya, Debshankar Halder, and Ujaan.

The web series is directed by Soumik Halder and the screenplay is by Sougata Basu.
