As Byomkesh Bakshi, Abir Chatterjee had looked the perfect Bangali babu in dhuti-panjabi. In Arindam Sil’s upcoming Byomkesh Gotro, the truth-seeker will also include western wear in his wardrobe, from overcoats to jackets. The reason?

Byomkesh lands up in Landour and dives head-first into cracking a case. Come June, Byomkesh Gotro will be shot in Mussoorie, in which the other Byomkesh maker Anjan Dutt plays a key role. ‘The audience will be in for a visual treat, in terms of costumes, colour palette and the look of the film. This film will be dark, witty, compact and full of suspense,’ said Arindam.
