Bibaho Obhijaan: Anirban Bhattacharya to sing his debut song again!

Anirban Bhattacharya made his playback singing debut with the song Kichhu chaini ami in Srijit Mukherji’s Shah Jahan Regency. He is all set to render a different version of the same song for the upcoming comedy film Bibaho Obhijaan.

Rudranil Ghosh, who plays one of the leads is also the writer of the film. During an interview with a daily, he revealed as to how the song became part of the film. He said, “Anirban’s onscreen image has become a serious one as if he is always in serious situations. But I believe he’s flexible. It’s true he has built such a romantic vibe with Kichhu chaini ami. In this film, I thought if his character Bullet Singh sings the same song off key or render it like an abriti (recitation) then it will bring out a completely different vibe. Also, Bibaho Obhjaan has successfully broken Anirban’s serious image. People will see a whole new Anirban.”

Bibaho Obhijaan, produced by SVF, also stars Ankush, Nusraat Faria, Sohini Sarkar and Priyanka Sarkar in the pivotal roles. It is a story of two friends embarking on an adventure of conjugal life which takes hilarious twists and turns. The film is all set to release on June 21.
