Bharti Airtel and Hoichoi’s Partnership Announced; Bengali Content Now Available to Pan India Audience

Bharti Airtel (Airtel) announced that it has entered into a strategic partnership with Hoichoi. The announcement saw the presence of Sameer Anjaria, CEO, West Bengal & Orissa, Bharti Airtel, actors Priyanka Sarkar, Anirban Bhattacharya and Vishnu Mohta, Co-founder, Hoichoi.

With the help of this partnership, Hoichoi’s exclusive content that consists of original shows, movies will now be available on the Airtel TV app for the viewers.

Hoichoi had announced 30 original shows and 12 original films for the next one year. This means the viewers of Airtel TV app will get to see 2 shows and 1 original film every month.

Popular shows like Hello, Byomkesh, Dupur Thakurpo, Cartoon, Mismatch, Charitraheen have been dubbed in Hindi and Tamil to reach out to a wider audience base.

Speaking at the event, Priyanka Sarkar said “Hello is a game changer. It challenges stereotypes and showcases many new aspects in relationships. I heard that the show has been dubbed. I will surely like to see the dubbed version”.

Anirban who plays Byomkesh said “Both Hello and Byomkesh are doing well and it gives me great pleasure to hear that. Byomkesh is special for me and to get such good response is a big deal”.

With Hoichoi and Airtel partnering up, the viewers will have something new to watch every month.
