Ankush elated by Birsa’s praise

Birsa Dasgupta, who had directed Ankush in Bibaho Obhijaan for the first time, recently tweeted that it had been a pleasure. “A hero who can act, has impeccable comic timing, can do action scenes with ease, and is a fantastic dancer! Director’s delight @AnkushLoveUAll #BibahoObhijaan (sic),” he added. Ankush, who is on cloud nine after reading the tweets, said, “It was lovely working with Birsada. He is a super cool director, who never gets angry on the sets. I am so happy that the film is releasing in Bangladesh in July. There is a huge audience there who love to watch our films. After a long time, an out-and-out commercial film is doing so well just because it’s a total entertainer where people could relate to the story, as it deals with the nitty-gritty of marriage,” said Ankush.

But the actor is not happy with the show timings of the film in the second week, considering the fact that it’s doing well at the box office. He had tweeted about this, saying that given the footfall, some plexes could have at least given the film some evening shows. “The business of the film would have been better if the show timings were better,” the actor told us, while enjoying the rain at home.

Ankush is currently busy reading scripts. We hear that he is part of Baba Yadav’s next. The actor is also been offered to play the lead in a Bangladeshi project, along with a Pathikrit Basu and a Raj Chakrabarty project.
