Anirban’s song goes viral

Kichchu chaini aami ajibon bhalobasha chara, the song sung by Anirban Bhattacharya in Srijit Mukherji’s Shah Jahan Regency, has gone viral. The actor who confessed to not being a professional singer is himself stunned at the response. “I am speechless and overwhelmed with the response I got. I am not a professional singer and have only sung on stage. I haven’t got so much of a good response from my acting as I got from singing! I am happy that I didn’t let Prosen, Dipangshu Acharjya and Srijit Mukherji down,” said Anirban, who completed dubbing for Aparna Sen’s E Juger Ghare Baire. He added, “I am part of Anjan Dutt’s Operation Writers where I play Dinesh. The workshop will start soon. That apart, I plan to act in a play and direct one in 2109.”
