Amazon Obhijaan trailer: Dev is back on an expedition but this time, it is deadlier than Chander Pahar – watch video

Amazon Obhijaan, a sequel to the superhit 2013 film Chander Pahar, has been in the news for a while now for being one of the most adventurous films in Bengali cinema ever. Also the fact that the first film was a raging hit, the stakes for this film were higher. The trailer of the movie has finally released and we can say for sure that the industry has not seen a film like that before. It is filled with exciting twists and turns which will give you goosebumps. Chander Pahar itself was a one of a kind film and the sequel has only taken it a notch higher.

The trailer begins with Shankar ready to go for yet another life-risking adventure and this time it’s to the deadly forests of Amazon. The trailer is filled with animals which are just out to get their food, no matter what it is. The animation used in the film is at par with many Bollywood films. Talking about the film, Dev had told us, “Chander Pahar is a difficult franchise. I have to fight with animals, so many factors involved. It was a do or die situation for me. I had promised myself that I will never do a film where I will encounter animals. But after the huge success of Chander Pahar, we thought there is no point in repeating the same thing because people will not come and watch it. Thanks to director Kamaleswar and Shree Venkatesh Films, they changed the whole scenario. We shot the first one in South Africa and the second film in Amazon. There are only a few films that were shot there. We met a local in Amazon who told us it is only the 8th film to be shot there.” The film will release six languages.
