‘Aami Aachhi’ from ‘Dwitiyo Purush’ is a treat for your musical ear

The new song ‘Aami Aachhi’ from Srijit Mukherji’s latest ‘Dwitiyo Purush’ will surely evoke nostalgia, expecially when this film is a sequel to 2011 hit ‘Baishe Srabon’.

In ‘Baishe Shrabon’, singer Rupam Islam did a splendid job with the title track. So it was expected in the sequel there will be at least one song from Rupam and ‘Aami Aacchi’ is a fitting testimony to that.

It’s a soft rock number written and composed by Anupam Roy and Rupam’s rendition is a treat to musical ears. You won’t get to see too much experiment with the song. Both Anupam Roy and Rupam have just repeated themselves.
