Rudranil has a lot on his plate after Vinci Da

Rudranil Ghosh is happy with the appreciation he is getting for Srijit Mukherji’s Vinci Da. “I am so happy with the overwhelming response the film is getting from the audience. The audience could relate to the story well,” said the actor.

The story of Vinci Da is about an obsessed makeup artist, who’s struggling to make his own place in the industry completely on his own talent and capabilities. Although his father was a renowned makeup artist, he somehow failed to make his mark and got no chance even though he was highly talented. On top of it, his straightforwardness and arrogance resulted in him insulting three big personalities of industry, which made the situation worse. When his life was going haywire, Adi Bose entered his life and changed it forever.

Rudranil is at present busy doing homework for Ajit’s character, which he will be playing in Anjan Dutt’s Byomkesh where Parambrata Chatterjee plays the sleuth. “I have played a villain in Anjanda’s Adim Ripu, the first Byomkesh film he directed, where Saswata Chatterjee played Ajit. The way Anjanda used to capture Byomkesh and Ajit’s bond is brilliant,” said the actor.

Rudranil is also busy dubbing for Birsa Dasgupta’s film Bibabho Obhijaan. The script of the film is penned by him. Bibaho Obhijaan is a story of three couples that each one of us will be able to relate to. The drama that happens between each married couple is the essence of this romcom and how, at the end of the day, it is the love that binds them together.
