Dwitiyo Purush is the spin off to Baishey Srabon with the the tagline – ‘Baishe Srabon er por…..Dwitiyo Purush’ ( After Baishe Srabon…Dwitiyo Purush). A sequel to the critically acclaimed and mass appreciated film “Baishe Srabon”, by National award-winning director Srijit Mukherji, sets in two timelines – 1993 and 2019.

In the year, 1993, Chinatown, Kolkata – a gang war took place between notorious gangs and quite a few murders happened. Police got involved and finally was able to arrest the culprits. 26 years later, similar incidents took place in Chinatown, Kolkata – from exact similar locations to pattern of murder – everything. The case goes to Abhijit Pakrashi, who is taken to be one of the best in this area, after he solved the very famous Prabir Roy Chowdhury case in Baishe Srabon. Abhijit along with his assistant, Rajat, starts off with their investigation only to come to a horrifying ending and brutal discoveries.
