Running Successfully | The story begins with a young man’s visit to Byomkesh’s Kolkata home. The 25 year old introduces himself to Byomkesh as the son of a business magnet from Landour, Mussourie and says he feels that his life is threatened. He wants Byomkesh to further investigate this in Mussourie. The advance that he gives is too magnanimous to be ignored. Byomkesh reaches Landour to find Satyakam, the young man, murdered.
