Yash Dasgupta’s first movie of the year, ‘Total Dadagiri’ failed to live up to the expectations at the box office. However, the dashing actor is all set to try his luck for his next film ‘Fidaa’. It will be helmed by Pathikrit Basu who was also the director of his previous film.

As soon as the first look was launched, the fans were left guessing who the leading lady is opposite their heartthrob. SVF later introduced their new discovery, debutant Sanjana Banerjee who will be the love interest of Yash in this romantic saga.

The shooting has already started for the film and not just acting, Yash Dasgupta has been given another important task. Muscat-born Sanjana is learning Bengali from the actor. The beautiful model is not so comfortable with the Bengali language but Yash says she is an avid learner. Interestingly, Yash’s mother is also helping Sanjana.

According to reports, Yash, who has been seen pulling off action stunts in his last two films, will don an altogether different avatar for ‘Fidaa’. His character will have a tinge of humour to it and he may be seen in two distinct avatars.
