Kharaj Mukherjee loves his character in ‘Durgeshgorer Guptodhon’

Dhrubo Banerjee’s ‘Durgeshgorer Guptodhon’ will hit the theatres on May 24 after winning hearts with the first film in the treasure hunt franchise of Sona da – ‘Guptodhoner Sondhane’.

We already know Abir Chatterjee, Arjun Chakraborty and Ishaa Saha reprising their roles of Sona da, Abir and Jhinuk respectively. For the rest of the cast, Kharaj Mukherjee plays an interesting character in the film. While the recently released trailer has doubled excitement among the fans, Kharaj is also excited to see the overwhelming response the trailer has received so far.

“It’s good to see everyone is talking about the trailer. It feels like hard work is paying off. Now I am eager to see how the audience responds when it releases at the theatres. It’s story of a treasure hunt. We all are searching for the culprit who’s responsible for the shocking incidents related to the treasure. There’s a great Puja ambience at a bonedi bari. I am playing a man who is a significant part of this house despite not having any blood relation with the family. In fact, the senior most character, played by Lili Chakraborty, sees me as his elder son. My character is a jovial, down to earth man who loves to make everyone laugh,” said Kharaj while elaborating on his character in ‘Durgeshgorer Guptodhon’.

The seasoned actor is also busy with his next stage production titled ‘Dozen Dujon’ which will be staged in August. There will be twelve stories and each has two characters.
