Shree Venkatesh Films’ digital entertainment platform Hoichoi began streaming the second season of its original web series Dupur Thakurpo. Antara Biswas, popularly known as Mona Lisa, is essaying the role of the protagonist Jhuma boudi. Dupur Thakurpo season 2 marks her digital debut and her return to the Bengali entertainment industry after a long hiatus. 

The series will have a total number of five episodes. Two of them have already been aired, along with the promo of the show’s new song Boudi superhit. The song is sung by Trissha Chatterjee and Tapas Dhar. There is also a rap section by actor Saurav Das. The song is composed by Amlaan Chakrabarti who garnered popularity with Boudi song from Dupur Thakurpo season 1.

Three songs: Haye Re, Tuki and Holi song have already been launched before.

Dupur Thakurpo is an adult comedy. The first season of the series starred Bengali actress Swastika Mukherjee.
