‘Gumnaami’ song ‘Dhawno Dhanyo’ is the evergreen patriotic song in a new version

Gumnaami’ music is already a hit inflicting patriotic flavours among the Bengali movie buffs and now, here comes another patriotic song ‘Dhawno Dhanyo’.

‘Dhawno Dhanyo’ was originally composed and written by the legendary poet Dwijendralal Roy and for ‘Gumnaami’ Indraadip Dasgupta has nicely rearranged the iconic song. A choir of singers including Ishan Mitra, Mekhla Das Gupta, Durnibar Saha, Ikkshita Mukherjee and Winy Roy has rendered their voice to this soulful number.

While the song encpsulates the glories of our motherland India, the music video depicts the obstacles Subhas Chandra Bose had to go through to ensure the freedom of India. The song guides us through the various theories regarding the death and disappearance of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose.

The Bengali version of ‘Gumnaami’ produced by SVF and featuring Prosenjit Chatterjee, Anirban Bhattacharya, Tanusree Chakraborty and others will release on October 2 nationally, whereas the Hindi version will hit the theatres on October 11.
