The recently released trailer of Birsa Dasgupta’s ‘Crisscross’ has already set the industry into a tizzy with Tollywood celebs going gaga over it. Now, to intensify the craze surrounding the women-centric drama the first song ‘Duniya’ has been released. Composed by Subhadeep Mitra, Nikhita Gandhi’s refreshing voice has transformed the track into a cheerful and lively one as it superbly encapsulates the stories of five women and their lives.

Starring Jaya Ahsan, Mimi Chakraborty, Nusrat Jahan, Priyanka Sarkar and Sohini Sarkar in the lead, ‘Crisscross’ narrates the interesting stories of five women from different sections of the society. Despite the diverse lifestyles and professional background, they connect with each other somewhere in their lives.

Mimi plays the role of a photojournalist in the film. Priyanka Sarkar will be seen as an Anglo Indian girl Suzi while Jaya Ahsan to portray an arrogant businesswoman Miss Sen. Sohini Sarkar has been cast as a housewife belonging to a North Kolkata family. Nusrat will take on the role of an aspiring actress Meher.
