‘Bhoot Chaturdashi’ to hit the theatres on May 17

The recently released trailer of ‘Bhoot Chaturdashi’ has already intrigued the audience. It had all the necessary elements to scare you. Some spooky shots, well created visual effects, eerie background score, all add to the intrigue factor. Now the makers have dropped another spooky poster from the horror flick along with the release date.

‘Bhoot Chaturdashi’ has now locked its release date and its May 17. The story is by Mainak Bhaumik who himself is a fan of horror movies. Shabbir Mallick who had assisted Mainak earlier is making his directorial debut with this film.

Just like the director the lead cast also belongs to the next generation. The four leads are Aryann Bhowmik, Ena Saha, Deepsheta Mitra and Soumendra Bhattacharya. The story sees four young friends on a road trip to make a documentary as they experience some supernatural incidents that change their lives forever.

Another interesting point is the story revolves around a folklore related to Bengal and the concept hasn’t been copied from any western horror flick.
