Anjan Dutt set for Christmas celebration with his next ‘Borodin’

No one has done it better than <Anjan Duttat portraying Christmas, the Anglo-Indian cultural diversity, and Kolkata’s winter atmosphere in his cinematic canvas. Now the critically acclaimed director is set to move the audience with yet another social drama titled ‘Borodin’. The film’s plot revolves around the Christmas festivity and if all goes according to plan it will be released during Christmas this year.

After ‘Bow Barracks Forever’, veteran actress Moonmoon Sen will once again be seen in Anjan’s film. For the role of a middle-aged Anglo-Indian lady who enjoys her life, Moonmoon Sen is ideal, that’s why Anjan Dutt decided to cast her. Even the director himself will play a pivotal role in this film. Joyjit Banerjee, Suprabhat Das, Sagnik and others will also essay pivotal roles in ‘Borodin’.

Anjan Dutta had previously made a Hindi film ‘Bada Din’ (which translates to Borodin in Bengali) revolving around the same subject in 1998. It had Marc Robinson Shabana Azmi and Tara Deshpande in the lead.
