Anirban remembers his favourite moment from ‘Bibaho Obhijaan’

Anirban Bhattacharya’s brilliance as an actor has been proved time and again through all his films. Whether it’s the religious Hindu neighbour in ‘Uma’, the dark-shaded revengeful brother in ‘Ek Je Chhilo Raja’, the aimless rich son of an industrialist in ‘Shah Jahan Regency’, or the latest act as a short-tempered police officer in ‘Vinci Da’ – he has become a reel chameleon.

In ‘Birsa Dasgupta’s latest release ‘Bibaho Obhijaan’, we see Anirban in a comic role, a completely different character from his earlier ones. He plays the role of Gansha who is leaving no stones unturned to win Malati’s heart. Above all he is a dacoit who is crazy for tea!

Well, we asked the versatile actor about any favourite moment from ‘Bibaho Obhijaan’ and he promptly remembers a hilarious scene.

“There’s a scene in the film where I am in a bathtub and Ankush, Rudranil are also present there. You won’t believe we shot that scene for two days as it was a big sequence. I had to wear boxer shorts and a vest for this shot. But I liked it since it’s summer. I was in the bathtub for almost three-and-a-half hours,” Anirban quipped.

Anirban is also happy with the feedback ‘Bibaho Obhijaan’ has received so far. “The response is quite positive. Some of my friends who don’t watch this kind of films have watched it. Perhaps the trailer, the poster and the content is attracting the audience attention,” added the popular actor who will next be seen in Aparna Sen’s ‘Ghawre Bairey Aaj’ and Srijit Mukherji’s ‘Gumnaami’.
