‘Adventures Of Jojo’: Raj Chakraborty is all praise for little Joshojit

Raj chakraborty’s dream project ‘Adventures Of Jojo’ is finally set for a grand release this Christmas. The children’s adventure drama has already sent the cine buffs into a tizzy with the super exciting trailer and not to mention the title song ‘Jojor’ Gaan’. Popular actor Joyjit Banerjee’s son Joshojit Banerjee who plays the titular role is making his big screen debut with the film. It has another talented child actor Samiul Alam who will be seen as Jojo’s friend Shibu and an elated Raj Chakraborty is all praise for the two little protagonists.

“There is certainly an advantage when you are working with a child actor, he will listen to the director without his own inputs. Joshojit is so sensitive. You won’t believe how knowledgeable he is even in this small age. He can name all the hundred children of Dhritarashtra’s, has already read Mahabharata four times. Not just that; he can say the name of presidents of almost every country without any mistake. But, I must say at the same time he is also a bit lazy. Still, he is a gem. Samiul Alam, whom we have seen in Sahaj Pather Goppo, was also a joy to direct. He is just a ‘cinemar poka’, crazy about all films,” revealed the director.

Produced by SVF, ‘Adventures Of Jojo’ also stars Rudranil Ghosh Padmanava Dasgupta, Jeetu Kamal and others in pivotal roles. The film is set to hit the theatres on December 21.
