‘IT IS AN EMOTIONAL MOMENT FOR ALL OF US AS THE SUCCESS OF THIS FILM IS A TRIUMPH OF TEAMWORK’

Uma completed its 50-day run in city theatres and the team gathered to celebrate the moment at Nandan recently. “On July 20, we completed 50 days and we chose to celebrate it in Nandan because it is a very special place for Sara Sengupta. During our hall visits, she received overwhelming appreciation from the audience there,” said director Srijit Mukherji.

The team cut a cake to mark the occasion. “It is an emotional moment for all of us as the success of this film is a triumph of teamwork,” added Srijit.

Meanwhile, the team had a gala time on the day. The music director of the film, Anupam Roy, said, “It is always satisfying to be a part of a successful film. Every time a person watches a film, he/she listens to the music too. So, it is a great moment for me as well.”

After the celebration at the auditorium, the director took the team out for a grand dinner.
