Anirban Bhattacharya has nailed every single role he has been offered in recent times, be it Satya Banerjee in ‘Ek Je Chhilo Raja’ or the premik purush avatar in ‘Shah Jahan Regency’. Arguably the most talented contemporary actor Tollywood has ever seen, Anirban is as a byword for a reel chameleon. Throw him anything, and he would deliver a character to remember. So, what’s the best role he has portrayed till now?

“Dhananjay is my best. I had to be transformed into a completely different character and I gave everything I had. It also feels good that there’s no repetition in the characters I have played till now. Plus, I don’t want to become a star. Instead for an actor there are a lot of scopes. Stars have a limited designation,” explains Anirban.

Up next for the versatile actor is Anjan Dutt’s ‘Finally Bhalobasha’ which is releasing this Friday. It has three idiosyncratic love stories among which the second one sees a dying man in search of a friend in Darjeeling. It has Anirban Bhattacharya playing a young man who dreamed of becoming an actor.

However, his ailing health stops him from fulfill his lifelong dream and so he seeks friendship and remorse in the arms of his male nurse Suprobhat Das.
